Week 2 - The Basics of Creating Your Marketing Plan & Sales Psychology
This week is all about creating your marketing plan and having a strategic way to use sales psychology to create content that truly shows off who you are and who your book is for.
October 16-20
Week 3 - Implementation & Q&A week
This week is a live Q&A in the facebook group. We’ll cover all the current questions and get you ready for the second phase of the program.
October 23-27
Week 4 - Creating Your Video & Content Plan For Your Content
This week is all about making video content and how to approach video content in YOUR way. We’ll talk about video editing, types of video that highlight you and your art, and how to create a visual or auditory thread in your videos so more people know why they should follow your video. We’ll go more in depth about creating content and the types of content that never go out of style for selling books.

WEEK 5 – implementation
This week is all about you implementing what you’ve learned.
November 6-10
Week 6 Identifying & Creating Your Engaged Audience
We’ll talk about developing your engagement plan, finding your audience, and creating a strategy that allows you to find and get your people excited for your books. We’ll talk about where to find your ideal people, how to identify them, how to get more reviews, and how to strategically grow your audience.
November 13-17
Week 7- Creating and Converting an Engaged Community
We’ll cover how to create and convert more of your community during book launches. We’ll concentrate on your pre-launch phase for setting you up for more sales and how to create a better community engagement plan during your next launch.
November 17-December 15
Week 8 - 1:1 calls
This is a busy time of year so you have a month to book a 1:1 call with me! I’ll send you an email and get your ideal times and we’ll talk about how to apply your new knowledge to your authorship. These are 1 hour calls with call notes provided afterwards!

about your mentor
Hi. I’m Hannah Richards and I have worked with over 100 literary clients over the last 3.5 years growing their Instagram and Twitter accounts while helping them form engaged communities, find unique social media strategies to work for them, sell more books on social media and create more notability in the writing world. I have helped grow accounts for big 5 publishers, indie presses, and self-published authors alike through Mindbuck Media Book Publicity and through my own business, Hannah Richards Social Media.
It may surprise you, but my background is actually in theater with a degree in Theater Studies from Guilford College. However, my love of literature and my involvement in the literary world goes back as far as I can remember, with both my father and aunt being authors throughout my whole life.
I never really imagined myself in the social media world, until I saw just how lucrative a social strategy could be for my author clients. Since then, I have learned to take my theater skills and apply them to social media while also using my strategic mind to grow accounts through analysis of account performance and strong branding and content strategy. And now, through this course, I want to teach you all of my strategies so you can achieve YOUR unique business goals.

Why do I need to create content?
Because content is what makes people interested in you and therefore interested in your book. With an effective content strategy, your content will convert for you, which means new sales coming to you!
When are the calls?
Call times will be based on author availability and decided through a questionnaire. You will also get 5 days per week, implementation videos in our Facebook group & via a portal.

Why is it important to have a reader and reviewer acquisition strategy?
On social media, it can be so easy to do the tasks we want to do and not concentrate on the most important part: finding your readers and reviewers. This will take you through the steps to find them and will help you to find the right people for you so you make more book sales and have more reviewers over time.
Is this for authors who are currently unpublished?
Yes. This program is for any author who wants to have a better content strategy and have more book sales when their book does come out.
